The local national Syli of Guinea has been programmed to face Togo and Morocco as they continue their preparations for the Africa Nations Championship, CHAN 2021.
The competition which is reserved for local players begins January 16 to end of February 7, 2021. Guinea is laced in Group D alongside Zambia, Namibia and Tanzania.
The local selection coach by Lappé Bangoura will play a friendly match against the locals of Togo on January 4. Guinea is expected to stay in Togo until January 5 having arrived the country January 2.
After playing Togo, the team is expected to leave the country en route to Morocco where they have two friendlies against morocco. Guinea will play the first friendly On January 8, three days later (January 11) another friendly is scheduled between Guinea and Morocco.
Guinea was originally scheduled to be in Gabon for preparations but that now has changed. No reason has been advance for the change of location for Guinea’s preparatory games.
This is what the Guinean Football Federation announced this Friday, January 1, 2021, which confirms having received the invitations from the Togolese and Moroccan federation in this direction.
Guinea is expected to leave Casablanca on January 13 straight to Cameroon for the Africa Nations Championship. Guinea will play most of its games at the Limbe Omnisport Stadium but for the last group game that they will play at the Bepanda stadium. Guinea’s opening game comes up January 17 and that will be against Namibia.
