It is the peak preparation period for the 2019/2020 season and clubs in Cameroon are also busy improving their squads for the upcoming season. 

Below are some deals that could be sealed or movements that could be made in the days ahead.

Gael Gregoire Nkama to return to UMS? 

kick442.com understands Former Panthere Nde Forward Gael Gregoire Nkama is edging closer to a return to UMS Loum after holding talks with UMS Loum officials this week.

The 27-year-old big forward spent the second half of last season at TKC of Yaounde and scored 6 league goals in 8 appearances to finish as the club’s top scorer.

The forward’s form last season seem to have renewed the interest of his employers in the 2018 season (UMS of Loum ) as the Moungo side is understood to have held talks with the striker.

Denis Ngweni Ndasi ends time at Cotonsport:

Cameroon International Center Half Denis Ngweni Ndasi has confirmed the end of his time at Cotonsport of Garoua.

Ndasi joined the club in 2017 on a 2 year deal from Union Sportive of Douala. Ndasi featured in 58 games in all competitions and scored 4 goals as a central defender.

Boubakari Salli II could leave Garoua. 

Cotonsport of Garoua right back Boubakari Salli II is on his way out of the club after seeing out his 2 seasons contract with the Cotonites.

The 18 year old has attracted interest from multiple clubs at home and abroad amongst which is Ismaily SC from Egypt.

Aime Gerard Mangolo says goodbye:

Still on the Cotonsport departures, Striker Aime Gerard Mangolo has confirmed he will not be returning to Cotonsport of Garoua after honoring a 1 season contract with the club.

The 33 year old 2018 Cameroon League 2 highest goal scorer who also won the Cup of Cameroon in 2013 with YOSA of Bamenda will be seeking a new challenge away from Garoua.

Mangolo scored 4 goals in 16 appearances last season for Cotonsport.

Tchayi Cyrille leaves Union Sportive of Douala:

Union Sportive of Douala top scorer in the last two seasons with 17 goals Tchayi Cyrille Tchamba has told kick442.com that he is leaving the club for a new challenge after two memorable years with the Nasara.

There are no clear details about the next destination of the 20 year old Olympic Lion. The former Botafogo man has already obtained Union Sportive of Douala’s blessings about his departure.

James Olufade Leaves Union SD

Togolese International left back James Adekanme Olufade, 24 has told kick442.com that his 3 year stay at Union Sportive of Douala has come to an end.

The inch perfect crosser of the ball enjoyed a wonderful first two seasons at Union.

I thank everybody at the club for the years together at this great club, we had great memories of us together but wish to seek a new challenge now” James Olufade told the online portal.

Yvan Martial Ndiessi can’t be shared by APEJES, Fovu and Bamboutos FC

Versatile center Yvan Martial Ndiessi maybe returning to Fovu of Baham 2 years after leaving the club for Union Sportive Douala.

kick442.com understands the player has held talks with officials of Fovu of Baham but is taking his time to evaluate his options giving that APEJES and newly promoted Bamboutos FC may also want to have a say.

Yankam Basile ends stay at Lion Blesse

Versatile right back, Yankam Basile is set to quit Lion Blesse of Fortuni 3 years after he joined the club.

Basile enjoyed a great season and featured in all but 3 games for his second tier Lion Blesse of Fortuni.

Noted for his ability to operate in more than one role, Yankam has been a mainstay in his former club’s success.

Basile leaves as a 2018 Cup of Cameroon vice champion with the potential to perform and win titles.

Romeo Tchamda could return to UMS

2015 Cup of Cameroon winner and 2016 League 1 winner with UMS Loum could be returning to the club after two seasons away at Astres of Douala.

The right back has held talks with officials of the club as the current champions of Cameroon look to improve their squad ahead of the new season but Tchamda who is a free agent is taking his time to make his final decision.

A return to Loum for one of the legends of the club is most likely giving that the love between Romeo and Loum seems still fresh and he is considered a later at the club.

Anteh Frankline leaves Unisport of Bafang again

25 year old midfielder Anteh Frankline Akupia has ended his second spell at relegated League 1 side Unisport of Bafang.

After attempting without success to safe a Unisport side that was already in trouble before his arrival,Anteh has decided to end his second spell at the club and seek a new challenge elsewhere.

The Intermediate Lion is a free agent and can join whichever club he chooses.

Randy Ntube ends relationship with YOSA

YOSA main attacking midfielder in the last 3 seasons Randy Ntube Kwalar has ended his long relationship with the Northwest outfit with intentions of taking a new challenge elsewhere.

The excellent passer told kick442.com that he was looking forward to working in a new environment after many memorable years of service with the Green and Yellow of the Northwest.
