Green Grass Technology Ghana Boss Mr Frank Boahen has assured the ready of the use of Baba Yara Sports Stadium ahead of upcoming CAF Confederation game between kumasi Asante kotoko and Zesco united on 13th February 2019.

Confederation of African Football (CAF) has fired a warning to Asante Kotoko over the current state of Baba Yara Sports Stadium speaking on Kumasi base Radio ASHH FM.

Reports suggest that the continent’s football governing body has written to the Porcupine Warriors to take appropriate measures to ensure the venue is in good condition to host CAF Confederation Cup matches.

Officials keeping a close eyes on the health of the Baba Yara Stadium

“Ministry of Youth and Sports contacted Green Grass Technology last week Thursday concerning the improvement and maintenance of the Baba Yara Sports Stadium Pitch so we are still working on it for the betterment of the stadium”

“The pitch would be ready and in good shape by Wednesday because we are working within time to make the pitch reach the standard required by CAF and FIFA”

“I came with a team of experts specialised in different fields in pitch management so we are working on the pitch and it would be ready by Wednesday”

“I will commend the Minister for Youth and Sports Minister Hon. Isaac Kwame Asiamah for his support and assuring Green Grass Technology to settle all our debt owed by the State”.
