Royaltoms International Football Academy, RIFA Right Wing Back, Ayoola Opeyemi Deborah like other female footballers started playing the round leather game with boys.
In an exclusive chat with kick442.com, she took us through how she started her career at the grassroots level.
“I started playing when I was in Primary six, then I used to play on the street with boys. When I got to SS 1, that was when I heard about girls playing Principal’s Cup for the school, so I joined the school team. That was how I met Mr. Olajide Royal, the school Team Coach. He introduced me to his academy which is RIFA academy at Ojota Primary School, so that was how I started my football career with the team. I choose football because it is what I love doing and also have passion for.
