Players of Spanish La Liga Iberdrola side Granadilla Tenerife have sent a message of support to their injured Cameroonian colleague, Raissa Feudjio Tchuanyo.

The midfielder damaged her cruciate ligaments while on duty for her club in a league game against Real Betis Feminine.

Reports suggest former Aland United maybe out for up to six months everything being equal.

Over the weekend, Raissa’s club colleagues carried a banner with the message “get well soon Raissa” before kick off of the game against Athletico Madrid Feminino.

10th placed Granadilla have struggled in the absence of the 24-year old Cameroonian, they have not won any game of three played so far and host leaders Barcelona in their next league game this weekend.

Raissa switched to the club late last year and has been a key player since then.

Her injury may also keep her out of Cameroon’s Tokyo 2020 Olympics qualifiers games against Zambia in March 2020.
