Head coach of Zambia National team Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has named his 31 man’s squad to represent the country for the African Nations Championship CHAN in Cameroon.
The squad comprises of players from the U20 team, fans select side who will be travelling to Cameroon Wednesday December 29, 2020, where they are expected to participate in a PRE-CHAN tournament in Cameroon from January 1-7, 2020, alongside Cameroon, Niger, and Uganda before the CHAN proper on January 16 to February 7, 2021
Amongst the players called up, coach Milutin ‘Micho’ included five players Adrian Chama, Clement Mwape, Spencer Sautu, Harrison Chisala, and Rodger Kola all from the fans select side that played to a 1-1 draw with his provisional squad yesterday at Nkoloma Stadium.
In the U20 team, defender Golden Mafwenta and goalkeeper Patrick Chooma were shortlisted. Prison Leopard’s goal minder Charles Kalumba who had an impressive outing yesterday has also joined the squad.

The boys of coach Milutin ‘Micho’ will be based in Limbe and have been pitted in pool D alongside Guinea, Tanzania, and Namibia.
Zambia’s best performance of the CHAN was during the inaugural tournament in Ivory Coast under Frenchman Herve Renard in 2009. In 2016 and 2018, under the stewardship of coach George Lwandamina and Wedson Nyirena respectively only managed to get reached the quarter-finals.
