Confirmed reports emerging from Argentina this Wednesday have it that global football legend Diego Armando Maradona has died.
The football icon has submitted to death aged 60. He died in his native Argentina.
The 1986 FIFA FIFA world cup winner with the South American nation had a series of health issues during his last days on earth, before giving up the ghost today.
The former Napoli and Barcelona star was Argentina’s captain during the 1990 world cup and the famous game in which Cameroon defeated Argentina by ome goal to nil.
He retired and went into management. He managed the Argentina national selection including during their appearance at the 2010 FIFA world cup in South Africa and a handful of Clubs.
He leaves behind the entire football world and his family to mourn him.
