One of the most deadly finisher in the Cameroon Elite 1 championship for over half a decade Tamo Giresse Tinwo has committed his immediate future to Cameroon top-flight Championship side Stade Renard of Melong and revealed reasons behind his decision to kick442.com.
Considered one of the most-loved player on the books of the Club, Tamo has told kick442.com that he has signed a new one-year-deal at Stade Renard ending speculations about his future.
The striker scored 8 goals in the domestic championship last term, helping the Club win the Super Cup in the season opener.
Speaking with kick442.com this Friday, the striker revealed the reasons behind his decision to stay.
“I had a lengthy conversation with the president(Jean Kuete) of the Club and he gave me details about the Club’s ambitions for the season. This was justified by new technical staff and players. That convinced me to stay. I am sure this season we can challenge for honors and I am working had to prepare for that. To score more goals and to be the best scorer in the championship,” the former Bamboutos FC of Mbouda and UMS of Loum forward revealed.
Tamo Joined Stade Renard of Melong in 2018 from YOSA of Bamenda and has been a success till date.
He is expected to be one of the lead stikers in coach Gabriel Zabot.
The upcoming season in Cameroon is expected to resume between late September and early October 2020.
