Ghana Premier League side, Legon Cities Football Club have completed the signing of former Black Stars of Ghana captain, Asamoah Gyan.
The former Sunderland and Al Ain star was on the radar of the Premier League side Asante Kotoko all summer but their failure to match the players expectations forces him to sign for Legon Cities instead.
Kick442.com understand that Gyan has agreed a four-year deal which will see him earn $1 million – a record in the local transfer.
The 34-year-old is returning to the Ghana Premier League, 17 years after leaving Liberty Professionals where he scored ten goals before moving to Europe to continue his career there.
Legon Cities is Gyan’s 10th club after previously playing for Liberty Professionals, Udinese, Modena, Rennes, Sunderland, Al Ain, Shanghai SIPG, Al Ahli Dubai, Kayserispor, NorthEast United.
