The Ministry of Youth and Sports in Ghana have said they will need US$25 Million for Ghana’s campaign at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations and the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers kick442.com can report.
The sum of US$10 Million has been provided by the government leaving the sum of US$15 Million to be sourced else where.
A 4-member committee has been set up to raise the remaining amount of money for the campaign.
The committee comprises Ghana Football Association chairman; Kurt Okraku, ex-Black Stars captain, Sammy Kuffour, Bobie Evans Opoku and the Sport Minister Mustapha Ussif.
A semi final target has been set for the Ghana senior team at the FIFA world cup while winning the trophy is the target at the African Cup of Nations (AFCON).
