Ghana record goalscorer, Assamoah Gyan expresses his desire to play for Asante Kotoko

“kum Apem a, Apem Beba”; kill a thousand, and a thousand more would come.Good news for Asante.

Asamoah Gyan has taken to social media to once again express his will to end a warehouse of a great pass behind him. Everyone thinking about Gyan would surely recall the day Africa missed out on the chance of the world cup semi’s. Gyan had the responsibility of taken spot kicks in 2010, but he missed the most important one of his career.

The combination between Ghanaian highest goal scorer of all time for Ghana (47) to and the best team in Ghanaian history; 24 championships and 9 F.A cups, would certainly see Hearts of Oaks football club more worried.

Ghana was commonly referred to as the Gold Coast, and football fans begin to ponder aloud if it is the football of the nation referred to as gold or the metal itself in it’s raw state.
The goal-hunter started with Liberty professionals, and later saw European giants started spreading their wings into the dark Continent, just to take a piece of his pen

“The Black Stars” of Ghana have four cup of nation’s, and a group of palatable footballers ; Abedi Pele : he was very good that people started referring to him as the African pele. He won the 1991, 1992 and 1993 African player of the year, with his career poster being the Champions league 1993 with Marseille. Sammy Kuffour was good, Stephen Appiah was exceptional and Sulley Muntari was a joy to watch; as a famous sports reporter once said; ” you spend time creating records that would be eventually brooking by unknown kids in few years”. The Ghanaian skipper began in the Ghanaian premiership in 2003. In that time, Gyan scored 10 in 15 and was scouted by Udinese of Italy. The Ghanaian Show- boater further went to clubs in France, England, Middle East and presently in Turkey. The BBC African player of the year 2010 was given to the Ghanaian, and many other enviable records; Youngest player to score for Ghana, highest goal scoring African in the world cup, and highest goal scorer in the middle East from 2011-14.

The jersey number 3 who plays in the center-foward position is still doing fabulously well in Turkey, and how would Asante relish this move!
