The Ghana football association communication director has announced the activities for the Senior National team ahead of their double header against Sudan later this month.
According to him, the team will be in camp for two days in Accra upon the arrival of the players and train at the Accra Sports Stadium.
They will then move to Cape Coast and play the game on 27th and return to Accra, train and return to Sudan the next day.
In his address, Mr. Henry Asante Twum indicated that the team will visit the GNPC unit at Kolebu teaching hospital in Accra on the first day of their arrival and have interactions with some of the patients.
There shall be a press conference where the Captain of the team will explain the reasons for their visit.
The team will return to their hotel, rest for some few hours and train in the evening.
After the training, the team will travel by road to Cape Coast where the game will be played.
He said that there will not be any stop over on the road, rather the team will move to the University of Cape Coast to have interactions with the students.
From there, the team will move to their hotel, rest and train in the evening.
A day before the match, there will be a mandatory press conference where the team’s captain and the coach will address the media before the game.
On the day of the game, when the players come out of the tunnel for warm up, they will kick signed footballs and ‘bring back the love t-shirts’ into the crowd for the supporters.
After the game, the team will thank the fans and return to Accra and prepare for the return fixture
Mr. Asante Twum however said specific dates will be added to each of the activities and made it official in the coming weeks.
