LCameroon Indomitable Lions midfielder, Georges Constants Manjeck has integrated the vast club searching market after being laid off by former employers Waasland Beverin.
The Belgian Jupiler Premier League club showed the 32-year-old the exit door on Tuesday April 27, 2021. This after the one time Lions midfield metronome suffered what book makers describe as the player having fallen out of favor at the club.
George Mandjeck who joined the Belgian club at the start of the 2020/2021 football season from Czech club Slavia Prague has featured in a total of 16 games in all competitions combined this term.
Coach Nicky Hayen found it hard including the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations winner in his game plans despite the clubs unconvincing performances that has seen the outfit taking part in maintenance play-offs where they face second tier side RFC Seraing, on May 1, 2021.
Waasland Beverin finished the season 17th on the 18 club league, picking seven wins and 17 defeats in 34 matches.
Mandjeck who began his career at Cameroonian football academy, Kadji Sport Academy of Douala and German side Stuttgart, is considered as one of the finest midfielders Cameroon have had in the last decade. He counts over 50 appearances for the senior men’s national football team, Indomitable Lions.
