Spanish LaLiga outfit Valencia are reported to be ready to let go their Central African Republic midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia for just £26 million in the next transfer window.
According to reports from the Evening Standard, the Spanish club is willing to let go the former Monaco and Inter midfielder.
Tottenham’s Manager Jose Mourinho is on red hot alert. The north London club has been keeping an eye on the 27-year-old midfielder since they lost Belgian midfielder Moussa Dembele in 2017, as reported by Sky Sports.
Tottenham have lost other key midfielders like Christian Erikssen and Victor Wanyama, making it imperative for Mourinho to strengthen his midfield ahead of the next campaign.
There is a forced halt on global football due to the Coronavirus pandemic, and it is not certain when the leagues and competitions will resume. This will definitely affect how team’s will go about their transfer business as the forced break has taken a heavy toll on their finances.
Kondogbia moved to Valencia in 2018 for £20 million. Everton have also manifested an interest in arguably the best player of all times from his country.
