Isiaka Olawale (Baba Eyan), holds a Beach Soccer Seminar session on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, in Ilorin, the Kwara State Capital with the Beach Soccer Team ahead of the Second round Beach Soccer League in Kebbi State next Month.
Olawale, who is a legend in the game, with Beach Soccer FIFA World Cup appearance, CAF Beach Soccer Nations Cup, Intercontinental Beach Soccer Cup in Dubai, and several appearances in COPA Lagos International Beach Soccer.
He opined that there is a need to put the team together ahead of the second round of the league in Kebbi State that is slated for next month.
We will recall that the team came out with a superlative performance in the first Round of the league, after beating the African Beach Soccer Champion and Nigeria’s number one Beach Soccer Club, Kebbi fisher Beach Soccer Club in Lagos.
The Ex-Captain Nigeria Sand Eagles, Isiaka Olawale, take the team on an educative session which lasted for two hours on Beach Soccer Tackle, Fitness Level, Trowing, Passing, Skills, four minutes holding on the ball, and how to make changes during the match.
The Program was a very educative one and will enhance the team performance in their next outing in Kebbi State, says the team, Captain Ogunlana Seun. “We learned a lot from the State Ambassador and the Sand Icon”, he concluded.
The Team Technical Adviser, Coach Paul Odey in his statement appeal to the Sports Loving Governor under the leadership of Mallam AbdulRaaaq AbdulRaramon to support beach soccer in Kwara State as the game is being made attractive by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
He also posited that the game is an avenue for huge business and massive publicity.
