President Gaël Bernard Joannin of relegated SC Amiens has revealed that their Congolese forward Gael Kakuta will be allowed to leave the Crédit Agricole La Licorne Stadium this summer only after a win-win tripartite agreement for the good of all.
Speaking to Amiens’ official website recently president Bernard who is hopeful a court ruling will restore their top-flight status defined the terms that must be met to disconnect Kakuta from the club.
“Each player has a market value and if some clubs want our players, they will have to make an offer. It is a tripartite contract between the player, the buying club and the transferring club. All parties must have a benefit, no club will take advantage of our situation. If we go down to Ligue 2, we will discuss. If we stay in Ligue 1, there will be no problem keeping Gaël.” Bernard Joannin warned.
Strasbourg, Saint Etienne and former club RC Lens have all been linked with a move for the 28-year-old.
The Kinshasa native scored twice and provided five assists in 24 French Ligue 1 games for Amiens in the just ended season.
We understand the former Chelsea attacking midfielder favours a move to his formation club RC Lens.
