Super Falcons and Leicester City FC Women star, Ashleigh Plumptre has completed her bicycle trip from London to Paris.
The four days bicycle trip was to raise funds for charity which she has been known for.
Plumptre recently won the Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Community Award.
She scored a goal with an assist in 20 league games for Leicester City as her team escaped relegation after the conclusion of the 2021/2022 Barclays English FA Women’s Super League (WSL) season.
The Nigerian defender also scored a goal in the Continental Women’s League Cup.
After her international debut for Super Falcons of Nigeria against Ivory Coast, she has played Nigeria’s last four games and is in strong contention to make Randy Waldrum’s squad for Morocco 2022 Women African Cup of Nations (WAFCON), her debut tournament for the African Champions.
