Fulham FC have told their Spanish business partners Villarreal CF to do more if they want to permanently.
The Premier League outfit who owned the player’s services for at least the next three years want potential owners Villarreal CF (Anguissa’s Club on loan last season) to pay beyond €25 Million for the 24-year-old midfield metronome and have consequently rejected a first official offer of the above-mentioned amount from the La Liga side, according to Sky Sports.
Earlier this month, kick442.com stated categorically that the player will move away from Craven Cottage this summer with PSG, Atletico and Real Madrid lurking.
Anguissa has played down speculations linking him to Real Madrid but proved his worth last season justifying interest from these Clubs and also providing a player through which newly-promoted Fulham FC can raise revenue.
We understand this is a second push as Villarreal CF have already made an unsuccessful attempt to get the former Cotonsport of Garoua midfielder on loan again.
The former AS Fortuna midfielder has repaired his reputation last season on loan at Villarreal after a difficult 2018/2019 season at Craven Cottage.
Anguissa, 2018 UEFA Europa League finalist with Marseille featured in 36 of Villarreal’s 38 league games and scored twice across the season helping the yellow submarines back into the continental competition (UEFA Europa League ) following a 5th-placed finish in the just-ended season.
The highly-rated Cameroonian has a three-year contract at the Craven Cottage, but we have gathered that Zambo Anguissa will leave Fulham permanently this summer.
