Police FC head coach Abdallah Mubiru was last month sanctioned by the Ugandan football governing body, FUFA Competitions Disciplinary Panel after being found guilty of using abusive language towards match officials and making comments to the media that put the game into disrepute in the match against Onduparaka FC.
The coach however logged an appeal to the FUFA Ethics and Disciplinary Panel indicating there was no fair hearing.
However, after investigations, the FUFA Ethics and Disciplinary Panel has decided to maintain the initial sanctions but the coach will instead pay a fine of UGX 1,500,000 and not UGX 2,000,000 indicated in the first ruling.
The decisions include;
1- A fine of UGX 1,500,000 upon receipt of this decision.
2- Not to take part in any football-related activity until the above-prescribed fine is paid.
3- A suspended two-month ban from all football activities should he contravene the FUFA Rules and regulations again which shall automatically be implemented against him.
4-The club management is directed to ensure implementation of the Committee’s decision against Abdallah Mubiru.
