Officials of the Tunisian Volleyball federation, FTVB have announced resumption of hostilities for the month of September and October.
Three months after Volleyball activities in the North African nation just like other Sports activities went dead following the outbreak of the Coronavirus pandemic.
They have given their approval for training to resume from July 1.
The FTVB intends to have a special schedule for the rest of the playoffs calendar.
They intend to have games on Wednesdays, and Saturdays from September 5 and 19 for the Men, and girls respectively.
The return leg of the Tunisian Cup quarter-finals will be played on September 24 while the two legs of the semi-finals will be played on October 3 and 10.
The games will be played in accordance with the guidelines provided by the ministry of Sports to reduce the propagation of the virus.
The rest of the season for the championship and Cup playoffs has been scheduled as follows :
Saturday, September 5:
5th day outward
(ESS-CSS, EST-COK, SSSB-ASM)
Wednesday, September 9 1st day return (CSS-ASM, SSSB-COK, EST-ESS)
Saturday, September 12 2nd day return (EST-CSS, ESS-SSSB, COK-ASM)
Wednesday, September 16 3rd return day (CSS-COK, ASM-ESS, SSSB-EST)
Saturday, September 19 4th return day (SSSB-CSS, EST-ASM, ESS-COK)
Wednesday, September 23 5th return day (CSS-ESS, COK-EST, ASM-SSSB)
Saturday, September 26: Quarter-final of the Cup
Saturday, October 3: Semi-final of the Cup
Saturday, October 10: final of 11 of the Cup
Athletes in the North African nation have hopes of resuming sports activities though not in the same way it used to be.
