Seven Months ago, Thierry Henry was in the technical area in the World cup, conducting a very talented Belgian Team, as assistant to Roberto Martinez.
But like the saying goes,”In Football things change very fast”
Henry replaced by Leornado Jardim who was sacked in October, but Henry had all sorts of challenges in his time as head coach of Monaco.
Coach Henry didn’t win a game at the Stade Louis II and picked up just 15 points from 21 games in his time as the head coach of the club. Last week Monaco to suspended him and rehired Leornado Jardim.
Shortly after his departure from Monaco, Amateur French club, JS Distroff have reached out to Henry with another employment opportunity.
The club has issued a release on its Facebook page, with an offer for Henry to become their assistant coach.
The release from Distroff had this words; “We are second, we do not want to fire our coach,”
Accommodation at the clubhouse, possibility to participate our parties, authorization to insult players grandmothers and “buffet with chips and hops” are some of the fringe benefit attached to the proposed Employment offer made to the 1998 world cup winner.
41 year old Henry had a glittering career as a player, but his first major job as a coach just supports the popular saying; “Not all good players can make good coaches.
