The Technical Director of the Njalla Quan Sports Academy of Limbe Freddy Kouoh has revealed his desire to see his side build on their winning start to the 2020-2021 Regional League season.
NQSA handed a 2-1 defeat to cross-town rivals LIFCA on Sunday at their base in Man O War Bay.
“We congratulate the players. It has been a lengthy preparation period with many warm-up games and recently participating in the Limbe international youth tournament in which we had a great performance. After that we all participated in the Walk for life. The children didn’t have enough rest, but we have sent a message today,” Coach Kouoh stated.
NQSA only lost to EFBC in the final of the Limbe International youth tournament after playing six games in a week. The demands of that plus the injuries didn’t weaken didn’t temper with the input of the Njalla Quan Sports Academy of Limbe players input.
The game is the Club’s last of a difficult year for all football stakeholders.
Coach Kouoh believes his boys who succeeded to unsettle a much more experienced LIFCA remain humble and will continue to work hard to achieve good results.
“We congratulate the boys, we are hoping those injured recover as fast as possible and we have a good team to achieve some good results”.
NQSA leads the four-team Pool C ahead of their remaining first round games against FUSSA and Isohsa Limbe early next year.
