Coach Anumewa Frankline whose contract has come to an end at Rangers FC Bafut has been taken aback by a message circulating online that he has committed his future to the club.
The Team Media Officer of Rangers FC Bafut, Neba Jerome published on the club’s Facebook page that pending documentation, the team is in advanced talks to renew the contract of the coach Anumewa Franklin.
“Breaking News: Pending documentation, We are in advance talks to renew the contract terms with the head coach of our main team who guarded us during the 2021/2022 football season, Coach Anumewa Franklin”, as published on the Rangers FC official Facebook page.
Speaking to kick442.com, coach Anumewa says as of now, he is out of contract with Rangers FC Bafut and he is a free agent.
“I want to make it clear that my contract with Rangers FC Bafut has expired and I am open to any team for negotiations, even Rangers FC”, he said.
Coach Anumewa Franklin guided Rangers FC Bafut to finish 3rd in Group B of the elite two championship.
In 2019, he qualified Foncha Street FC to the elite two championship and repeated the feet in 2021 when he qualified Rangers FC Bafut.
