Frank Kom scored an 86th minute goal against Club Sportive Constantine during their 3-1 victory (6-3 on aggregate) in Tunisia to enable Esperance of Tunis reach the semi finals of the CAF Champions League for the second season in a row.

The 27 year old Cameroonian midfielder ended Constantine’s hopes of reaching the semi finals of the CAF Champions League for the very first time in 21 years.
Kom started the game on the bench but came on to replace Mohamed Ali Yaakoubi who sustained an injury at the 32nd minute.
He scored his second Champions League goal of the season to see his team ease pass CS Constantine in the all North Africa derby and maintain their CAF CL unbeaten record at home.
The defending champions have won all of their last 6 CAF-CL and are unbeaten in their last 8 matches in the competition.
Saad Bguir got a first half brace for the home side as Esperance continued their impressive run in the competition.
They were 3-2 winners over CS Constantine during the first leg encounter in Algeria last week.
The North Africa giants will face Tout Puissant Mazembe in the semi final of the competition.
TP Mazembe were the first African club to book a ticket into this year’s semi finals following their well deserved 4-1 win over Simba Sport Club in Lumumbashi.Both teams seperated goalless during the first leg match in Tanzania but Mazembe proved Superior again in Libumbashi.

Esperance welcomes TP Mazembe in the first leg encounter while the second leg semi final is build for Lumumbashi.
The winner of this epic encounter will either face Wydad Athletic of Morocco or Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa who are all in persuit of continental glory.
