Cameroonian midfielder, Frank Thierry Boya has just been loaned out to Belgian premier league club Saint-Trond, by Royal Antwelp for a season.
The 25- year-old Boya, who does not seem to fit into the plans of newly acquired coach Mark van Bommel, was also loaned out to Zulte Waregem last season who had him for an option of a permanent deal but he was returned back to his mother club and now another Transfer for him.
He may end up not playing for Antwerp this season.
He has not been part of the club’s plans for some for a while now.
Frank Boya has been lend to Saint-Trond with an option to buy. Though the defensive midfielder still has a contract until 2024 at Antwerp.
Frank made his debut for the Cameroon National team in December 23, 2015 , in a friendly encounter that ended one nil in favour of Niger.
The 2017 AFCON winner in the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon and former Apejes of Mfou defender who joined Antwerp from Royal Mouscron in 2022, has made just one appearance for Antwerp this 2021-22 football season.
He has now been given another opportunity to prove his worth to Saint-Trond and gain more play time than he has in the past two years.
He is currently training in Sint-Truiden and will most probably be announced by the club later.
