The entourage of 19-year-old Cameroonian forward Franck Junior Evina have told kick442.com that social media reports of interest in the Bayern Munich loanee at German second tier side KFC Uerdingen are unfounded.
Last week reports of the Gunners keen on signing the Yaoundé-native divided public opinions on some social media platforms.
One of the player’s close associate has confided in Kick442.com that Evina will return to the Allianz Arena at the end of the current season. He further stated that as it stands there is no serious business on the table for the winger.
Evina scored twice in three appearances in Cameroon’s unsatisfactory Under-23 AFCON outing in last November in Egypt but has been restricted to just two appearances last season for the Bayern Munich senior team.
The highly-rated former Germany U-18 international has had an impressive season in the second tier of German football scoring 5 goals, assisting 6 in 27 appearances for his club.
Franck came through the ranks of Bayern and penned a three-year professional contract in 2018.
Bayern can cash in on their young forward or the player a new deal in the days ahead, but for now this Pan-African Sports News Agency can categorically say there has been no contact from Arsenal.
