AFCON 2017 winner Franck Boya, 23 has registered his name on the score sheet over the weekend in the Belgian Pro League.

The goal scored by the 23 year old Cameroonian Midfielder has handed him a place in the Belgian Pro league team of the week.

The former APEJES captain bundled in the only goal for Royal Mouscron to help them pick a point against KAA Gent at home.

Boya has been a key player for the club since last season scoring important goals from his deep midfield role.

The former APEJES man only in his 3rd full season out of Cameroon is already a regular at his club and adding goals to his game.

Boya left Cameroon in 2017 months after securing the 2016 Cup of Cameroon and 2017 AFCON trophies for club and country.

Boya is one of two Cameroonians on the books of the club.His International Fabrice Olinga has also had a good start to the new season.

Boya missed the 2019 AFCON tournament in Egypt and he has never been selected to play for the Lions since after the departure of Hugo Broos.
