Stade Renard of Melong and UMS of Loum have entertained the excited public this Saturday at the Military Stadium in Yaounde.

The game started in an end to end fashion as both sides went out in search of an early goal.

First Half

Tamo Giresse Tinwo will try to test the skills of Dande Junior on goal for UMS, but his 4th minute efforts from 30 yards out was not good to beat Dande. Tabe Ayuk Vidal will retaliate almost immediately forcing a great save out of Stade Renard’s keeper. A 15th minutes effort from Nicolas Joel Owono hit the post after a finger tip save from Epane who will be call to action a minute later.

A 25th minute effort from Stade forward Sindjo Brice was deflected by Joel Etogue for a Stade Renard corner which was intelligently executed for Aristide Nga Ayissi to bring out a wonderful save from Dande Junior.

Joe Cole Mbella Mbella will pick a lose ball in the edge of the 18 Meters box in the 37th minutes but h couldn’t find the technique to put his effort on.

Jean Joseph Chapdjou found himself in space in the box in the 40th minutes but his attempt to beat Letizi was fruitless as his effort went narrowly wide. A minute later Victus Amogui will serve Francis Joel Tombi with a good cross into the box but his effort was timid and comfortably gathered by Epane.

Ledoux Moudongo put Victus Amogui in trouble with his pace forcing referee Bito Jeannot to issue the first yellow card to Amougui before Renard Midfielder Joe Cole made it a yellow on either side as both teams were sent to the charging room on a goalless score.

Second Half

In the second segment UMS started on a front foot with Midfielder Victus Amogui testing Epane from close range in the 50th minutes.
In the 55th minute of play Coach Souleymanou Aboubakar reacted to the situation on the pitch by pulling out Aristide Nga Ayissi to replace him with Jean Calvin Nsonla.

Joel Etogue will win possession for UMS in the Midfield to start an attacking action that was concluded by UMS forward Francis Joel Tombi for his second goal of the season.

There was a 60th minute scare for Stade Renard when Goalkeeper Epane Letizi and his left back Steve Roberto Nkeuni got caught in two minds but were lucky as Tombi Joel couldn’t take advantage of the blunder.

Stade Renard Forward Tamo Giresse Tinwo was replaced by Yann Same Same in the 65th minutes.

Joel Etogue was at it again in the 68th minutes as a timely challenge in the UMS box stopped advancing Jean Calvin Sonla Sonla from testing Dande.

Nicolas Joel Owono will pick a 73rd minute booking.

Stade Renard’s Joe Cole will be replaced by Bienvenu Mbith for Stade Renard while Victus Amogui left his place for Zibi Paul Ekani for UMS all in the 78th minutes.

Ledoux Moudongo attempted to beat Dande with a timid drive from way out but the goalkeeper was vigilant.

UMS captain Joel Etogue was injured late in the game and replaced defender Ngah Cedric in the 88th minutes as coach Laurent Djam employed the approach of holding what they have.

Cedric will pick a late booking for a tactful challenge on Nkuissi Thomas Legrand.

Stade Renard attempts to put passes together were punchered in the 4 minutes of additional time added in the game.
