Alex Mermoz Djatche Nandje was the hero on Sunday afternoon as his side recorded a comfortable 4-2 victory away to resilient AS Fortuna in match-day 10 of the Cameroon Elite One championship.
The 26-year old potential Cameroon international was simply unplayable in the left wing role assigned him by coach Olivier Nankam.
The native from Bafoussam who started his career at local outfit Sim’s scored and assisted two goals to Moussa Kalamoun and Victor Mengue with the other goal coming from Tchamba Junior.
An unbeaten Fortuna going into match-day 10 only replied twice through in-form Emmanuel Beken and Bertrand Essiane.
The game ended on a 4-2 score in favour of visiting Fovu who immediately lip frog Fortuna to go top for the first time this season.
Just like last season, Nandje has been telling in all Fovu has achieved so far, contributing five assists plus two goals in eight appearance for the Yaangwa boys in what appears to be a promising season.
Fovu will climax their scintillating first round of 2020-2021 Cameroon Elite One championship season this weekend when they host Djiko FC in match-day 11 of the competition.
Alex Mermoz Djatche Nandje is certainly a key factor in the Fovu equation this term.
