In the midst of the Coronavirus pandemic, four clubs: Buea United, Option Sports, Nkamanyi FI and EEMSA in an initiative baptized with the acronym B.O.N.E – have started a struggle against the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic, alongside online sports portal kick442.com in the Southwest region.
The aforementioned clubs marshalled by their presidents started the distribution of essentials needed to at least curb, if not completely eradicate the virus from the region on Monday.
Monday’s distribution in Buea was done under the stewardship of FECAFOOT southwest bureau worker Tatu Engelbert
The distribution of dozens of masks was done in Buea, around Sosoliso, Molyko but as per further inquiry, it is just the tip of the iceberg as the official movement would be launched on Saturday.
The masks distribution brought lots of joy on the faces of habitants around Sosoliso, Molyko, giving how important it’s turned out to be.
This initiative couldn’t come at a better time. President Paul Biya added seven measures last week to combat the killer virus, Covid-19 which involves the compulsory wearing of face masks in public spaces in Cameroon begins this April, Monday 13th, 2020 as instructed by the Head of State.
