French League 2 side Niort will continue life without their all time top scorer and Legend Ande Dona Ndoh. This comes after the 33 old forward decided to end his 5 years stay at the club and switch to AS Nancy Lorianne another League 2 side.
Dona is a well established striker especially in the second tier of French Football.The forward has played and scored for many clubs in that division including the likes of Le Havre,Luzenac amongst others.
Dona scored 61 goals in 172 games for the Niort, finishing as their top scorer in the last two seasons, before opting to announce he was leaving some weeks back.
Born in Muyuka-Cameroon on the 22nd of May 33 years ago, Dona played for West Coast United in the 2002/2003 season, before wearing the colours of Unisport Bafang until 2005 when he left for Le Havre in France.
Dona scored 15 goals in 32 appearance for Niort in the just ended season making him the 5th best scorer in the League.
He has penned a 2 year contract at AS Nancy (arriving as a free agent) and he becomes the club’s 3rd signing in the close season,arriving after Edmond Akichi et Ousmane Cissokho.
Nancy is currently without a coach,coach ‘Alain Perrin left the club at the end of the season after guiding them to the 17th spot on the log,two places lower that Niort.
The former Debunscha based striker who remains a darling to fans of defunct West Coast United of Idenau in Southwest Cameroon will start his 15th campaign in France next season and is sure to make it 16 given he has signed a 2 year contract with his new club.
