Former Cameroon Under 17 Lions goalkeeper, Boris Essele has agreed a four year deal to join Olympique Lyonnaise from Amiens SC.

The 19-year-old will stay at Amiens SC on loan for the rest of the season before switching to Lyon in the summer.

Essele was a part of the Cameroon team that participated at the 2017 Under 17 AFCON in Gabon and joined Amiens SC last season.

The lad caught the attention of the French club despite being third choice at Amiens where he is guided by first choice center back and compatriot Aurelien Chedjou Nfongang.

Lyon has a rich history with Cameroonian footballers;the likes of Marc Viviane Foe,Jean II Makoun,Henri Bedimo amongst others enjoyed a great time at the club.

Essele is one of two young Cameroonian keepers that will be eyeing regular football next season in the French topflight championship. 16-year-old Marseille Simon Ngapandouetnbu is another,he has been very close to the first team this season.
