Brendan Rodgers quits Celtic mid-way through the season, and takes up the job as the man at the helm of the foxes.

This would be the 7th club of the Irishman, and his 6th English club, if his brief stint as the gaffer of the Chelsea youth’s is included.

The 46-year-old is definitely remembered as the man that gave Swansea city the much stability needed in the premier league in the 2011/12 campaign.

His exploits with Swansea city saw Liverpool lurking around, and eventually giving him a 5 year contract. The Irish ‘Brains’ left a pack of premiership teams behind, scoring in 4s and 5s, with the best attack in the land_but unfortunately his team slipped at the telling moment, to gift Manchester city a league title that was considered long gone.

On 4th October, 2016 Rodgers was sacked leaving Liverpool in 10 position, and the Scottish big guns (Celtic), snapped him. On the 27 of November 2016 Brendan won his first ever managerial trophy, in his first time of asking in the Scottish premiership, alongside winning just what became only their 4th domestic treble, and Celtic also became invincible, going a whole season unbeaten.

Claude Puel was sacked, 6 defeats in seven games, couple with the 4-1 bashing against fellow mid-table strugglers; Crystal Palace.

Brendan Rodgers has a big task already, which is to cement Leicester City’s Premiership status, and have them looking up the table again, as they presently sit 12 on the log.
