Cameroonian forward, Karim Mbazo’o has begun his career in Rwanda in style.
The 20-year-old former AS FUTURO wonderkid provided two assists on his debut in the colours of Kiyovu Sports helping his club to a 4-2 victory against Mukura VS.
Martin Fabrice put Kiyovu Sports ahead 11 minutes into the into the semi final clash at the Stade regional de Nyamirambo but Bertrand Iradukunda reacted three minutes later to make it one-all.
Mbazo’o Karim then took it upon himself to restore his side’s lead with a fine run in the 33rd minutes before playing the ball to Robert Saba who made it 2-1 for Kiyovu.
Nizeyimana Claude was a beneficiary of Mbazoa’s creativity and generosity in the 60th minute. The debutant assisted for the second time in the game and Nizeyimana made it 3-1.
Ndizeye Innocent got one back for Mukura, but Martin Fabrice doubled his tally on the day to make it a 4-2 win for Kiyovu Sports.
Mbazo’o won the man of the match award and booked a place in the final programmed for thie Saturday against APR.
