The Under-17 Lions of Cameroon will confront local center regional league outfit Fondation Tafi in a Pre-AFCON friendly this Saturday at the Omnisport Annex I Stadium in Yaoundé-Cameroon.
The game penciled for 3pm local time will be the first since the start of this third training camp under the guidance of lead trainer Anicet Mbarga Foe.
The baby Lions are unbeaten in five friendly games played so far.
The team has scored 17 goals without conceding going into this Saturday’s friendly against a side noted for its resilience against other categories of the national team.
There is a likelihood that coach Anicet Mbarga Foe and his colleagues hand debut to new players brought into the camp during the start of the current camp.
Cameroon is one of 12 nations expected to be in Wednesday’s 2021 Under-17 AFCON draw to be carried out in Mauritania.
The Central African nation heads to Morocco for their 8th AFCON tournament as holders of the trophy looking to add a third crown to wins in 2003 and 2019.
