Njiki Simplice, coach of Cameroon League two side, Foncha Street FC of Bamenda says he is happy with the team he has ahead of the 2020/202I football season.
The experience gaffer was speaking recently to kick442.com at the close of the transfer window in Cameroon.
“I think we have a complete team this season and I am very satisfied with the team I have in place”, Coach Njiki Simplice said.
“The only problem I have now is that my players keep the ball a lot. We are working on that and before the season begins, that will be solved”, he added.
Last season, Foncha Street FC struggled for points and coach Njiki Simplice believes that, the team has brought in players who can help them this season.
The team has brought in players like Teguia David, Tsala Simon Pierre, Layou Ismael, Kanjo Benjamin, Adeh Didymus, Layou Ismael amongst others.
To the coach, the youthfulness of these players will be complimented by the experience of Kongnyuy Jude, Akosemoh Theodore and Nsameli Nyudorgha who also joins the team this season.
To the supporters of Foncha Street FC, coach Njiki called on them to be by the team always.
“I want to call on all our supporters to stay close to the team and like the president said, he will leave no stone unturned to make the team to a force to reckon with”.
The coach also disclosed that, if they have this calibre of team today, then it’s thanks to the collective efforts of all the staff; the vice president, Secretary General, team manager, Communication Unit and all the supporters who are always present during training sessions.
Foncha Street FC has been preparing for two months now ahead of the new football season. They will take on league one champions, PWD Social Club of Bamenda on Thursday in a pre-season friendly match.
