The former FC Phoenix Queens player scored her first goal of the season for Delta Queens in their first away win of the season as they defeated Osun Babes 0-1 in Osogbo.
The win placed Delta Queens in the second position on the 2021 Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL, Premiership table, five points behind league leaders, Bayelsa Queens.
Folorunsho Comfort is optimistic that Delta Queens can win the league and represent Nigeria at the Inaugural Total CAF Women’s Champions League.
“I want to help my team win the league and play in CAF Women’s Champions league because my father always told me to choose one number in my profession which is number one. Winning the league and playing in the champions league is my priority.” She told www.kick442.com.

An early goal (three minutes) by Delta Queens defender, Folorunsho Comfort against Osun Babes in the week eleven tie secured their first away win of the season as they
maintained their seven-game unbeaten run.
Comfort said: “I feel great scoring my first goal for Delta Queens against Osun Babes in an away game and I just want to keep improving my game to be able to help my Club achieve great things this season.
“My father told me that I should not emulate success with mouth but with hard work so if I keep improving my game, I believe in few years by the grace of God I will be at the top level.”
Second placed Delta Queens will welcome eleventh positioned Pelican Stars at Agbor Stadium in their week twelve game with their seven game unbeaten steak at stake after their week four defeat to Nasarawa Amazons thanks to Chinyere Igboamalu’s goal.
Delta Queens are yet to taste defeat since that defeat on January 6, 2021, and will hope to maintain that run when they trade tackles with resurgent Pelican Stars.
