The highly anticipated anti CoronaVirus pandemic campaign scheduled by the Samuel Eto’o Fils foundation plus Fai Collins Ngoran and Magasco will be done as a merger.
The two factions had earlier announced seperate humanitarian actions for fight against the spread of the CoronaVirus pandemic in the capital city of the Northwest region. Parties involved have now revealed they will carry out the initiative as a trinity on May 2.
The Samuel Eto’o Fils foundation began it’s tour to the regions affected by the pandemic in Cameroon two weeks ago with the aim of reaching out to 50000 Cameroonians.
Current Cameroon international Fai Collins and star musician Magasco also announced their decision to support the fight against the Virus in the Northwest with the distribution of sanitary kits and other aids.
A recent Facebook post of Monday April 27 from retired Cameroon international, Samuel Eto’o suggests the sensitization will be a collective effort.
“Thank you my brothers Magasco and Fai Collins for the support to the people of Bamenda. The Samuel Eto’o foundation supports your actions. Together we will distribute 500 sanitary kits to aged persons. We are going through tough times, so it is important to encourage people who engaged in such activities. Actions speaks louder than words. We will defeat the virus together”:the record man wrote on Facebook.
According Pavel-Sportsbiz.com Fai Collins and Magasco had lunched the distribution exercise and will continue with the elderly in collaboration with the Samuel Eto’o Fils foundation as scheduled.
“The next phase of our Humanitarian activities is on the way. We have kept the contacts of all those who showed interest”: Magasco told the same source.
So far, the Northwest has recorded five of the 1705 confirmed Covid-19 cases from nine of the 10 regions of the country. Cameroon counts 58 casualties and 805 recoveries since the first case was reported on March 6.
