The World Football governing body FIFA has published a release stating their position about the arrest of one of it’s confederations (CAF) head.
The FIFA release states that the institution is not in position to comment officially given that they lack details related to the arrest of the current CAF boss who was arrested in Paris this Thursday at 8:30 AM local time.
The FIFA release further states that Mr Ahmad is being questioned by French authorities in relation to allegations related to his mandate as president of CAF.

Ahmad Ahmad replaced long serving Cameroonian Issa Hayatou as CAF president in 2017 to the satisfaction of pro change advocates but recent developments around CAF has made change a less popular experiment in Africa.
This is happening exactly a year after Ahmad Ahmad’s main man,Kwesi Nyantakyi (former Ghana Football Association president & CAF Vice President) was left exposed by the publication of the Anas Aremayao Anas Number 12 popular video aimed at brining the alleged corrupt practice of Kwesi to the limelight.
