Super Eagles of Nigeria dropped to fourth position in the continent of Africa in the latest Coca Cola FIFA Rankings released on Thursday, February 7, 2018.

Nigeria who will feature in this year’s African Cup of Nations (AFCON) slated for Egypt for the first time since they won the tournament in 2013, amassed a total of 1427 points on the Rankings table.

Senegal are Africa’s highest ranked team on the continent as they ranked 24th on the table followed by Tunisia in the 28th position. Senegal had a total points of 1505 while Tunisia had 1493 points. Morocco in fourth position completes African top 5 teams on the Rankings table.

Over all, Belgium is world number one on the table followed by world champions, France and Brazil. Croatia and the three lions of England completes top 5 positions on the Rankings table.
