Super Eagles of Nigeria have moved two places on the FIFA Rankings which was released on Thursday, September 17, 2020, www.kick442.com can report.
The September 2020 rankings saw Nigeria despite the fact of not kicking a ball for more than nine months since it’s the last encounter with Lesotho moved two places from 31 to 29 and retain the third position in Africa with 1493 points.
Super Eagles will attempt to add to their ranking points next month with two friendlies lined up for them against Cote d’Ivoire on October 9, and Tunisia on October 13.
Senegal remains the best ranked African country in the 20th position with 1555 points ahead of Tunisia in the 26th position with 1506 points.
Algeria (35), Morocco (43), and Ghana (46) occupied the fourth, fifth, and sixth positions respectively.
Belgium, France, Brazil, England, Portugal, Uruguay, Spain, Croatia, Argentina, and Colombia are the top 10 ranked footballing Nations in the world.
