Super Eagles of Nigeria finished 2020 as the 35th ranked football national team in the world according to the last FIFA rankings which were released on Thursday, www.kick442.com reports.
The three-times African Champions currently occupied the joint fourth position in Africa alongside Morocco.
Senegal is the highest-ranked football country in Africa, followed by Tunisia and African Champions, Algeria.
Super Eagles played four games in 2020, losing one (against Algeria), and drawing three (against Tunisia, and twice against Sierra Leone).
Meanwhile, Mexico and Italy returned to the top ten positions on the FIFA Rankings.
