Super Eagles of Nigeria dropped three places on the latest FIFA Ranking which was released on November 26, 2020, www.kick442.com reports.

The Nigeria National Football Team dropped from 32nd to the 35th position on the FIFA ranking and maintain their fourth position in Africa.

Super Eagles failed to win any game in 2020 after losing to Algeria, and playing out draws against Tunisia, and Sierra Leone (home and away). The disappointing aspect of Super Eagles showing in 2020 is surrendering a 4-0 lead at home to Sierra Leone and failing to win the return leg after a barren draw.

Senegal maintain their leadership position in Africa and are 20th in the world. Tunisia (26), and Algeria (31) are second and third respectively.

Nigeria, Morocco, Egypt, Cameroon,
Burkina Faso, and
DR Congo completes Africa’s top ranked countries.

Belgium, France, Brazil, England, Portugal, Spain, Argentina, Uruguay, Mexico, and Italy are the world top ten ranked Nations.
