One time FIFA Club World Cup champions and German giants Bayern Munich will challenge African giants Al Ahly in the semi-final of the 2020 FIFA world cup on Monday.
Al Ahly picked up a 1#0 victory over host club Al Duhail on Wednesday February 4, 2021.The African giants have been drawn against German giants Bayern Munich in one of the semi-final games.
Reacting to this, lead trainer Pitso Mosimane says the game will be a fun filled one for his club, considering Bayern’s status in football.
“To play Bayern Munich, we are having fun. I mean, what do you expect out of us against Bayern. We have got nothing to lose. But to have fun. Everything to gain. It’s a big team. A team that beat Barcelona 8-2. Who are we? We’re just going to have fun.” Coach Pitso Mosimane of Al Ahly
They clash on Monday February 8, 2021, for a place in the final.
