The head coach of the under 17 National selection of Tanzania Oscar Mirambo has told the media that he owes special appreciation to the Rwanda Football Federation(FERWAFA) and Cameroonian based BINEWA Sports Management for the organization of the ongoing invitational tournament taking in Kigali.
Speaking to reporters in his pre-match press conference on Sunday in the conference room of the Stade Regional de Kigali, coach Oscar Mirambo who is currently in charge of the Under 17 national selection told reporters they came to the event to evaluate how much work had been done by him and his boys after their return from the invitational tournament in Antalya.
“I think we have to be grateful to FERWAFA and the organizers, tournaments like this help my boys to continue learning and grow in different challenges. I think the organizers have done a lot of work and tournaments this are really welcome in the preparation of every major tournament.”
Cameroonian born football agent Miguel Larry Luma who has masterminded some interesting football deals around the world over the years runs BINEWA sports Management and his collaboration with FERWAFA to organize this event have gone a long way to indicate how mature both institutions are in taking such a responsibility for the growth of African Football.
The ongoing Under 17 invitational tournament have 3 national teams involved;Cameroon,Tanzania and Rwanda.The first two will participate in the upcoming Under 17 AFCON tournament in Tanzania.
After beating Rwanda by 3 goals to 1 in their first game,Cameroon will face Tanzania in their first outing on Tuesday afternoon at the Stade Regional de Kigali.
