Officials of the Cameroon football federation, FECAFOOT in accord with the women’s and men’s league management body has issued a release requesting clubs present a list if 25 personnels for the men’s league one and two clubs and 20 personnel for the women’s league within 24 hours.
The communique states that “After a careful evaluation, FECAFOOT in collaboration with the Cameroon Transitional Technical Committee and the Cameroon women’s football league have decided to offer a special support to 25 players and staff of each Elite one and Two clubs plus 20 players and staff of each women’s league club”. The release signed by the Secretary general of the federation Benjamin Didier Banlock stated.

This comes close to a month after the different championships in Cameroon were suspended following the outbreak of the CoronaVirus pandemic.
18 men’s topflight clubs, 14 second tier men’s clubs plus 12 women’s league will benefit from the move.
A total 1040 personnel who have not been on the pitch for any FECAFOOT organized activity since the different championships were suspended because of the outbreak of the CoronaVirus will receive the special package.
The president Mbombo Njoya led FECAFOOT in the same release encouraged footballers in the domestic championship to strictly respect the measures put in place to prevent the spread of the CoronaVirus.
