The President of Cameroon’s Football Federation, Seidou Mbombo Njoya has called for ‘greater solidarity’ among stakeholders while considering a special support to the country’s amateur League as was the case with the First and second tier championships as well as Women’s League.

Over a 1000 players and coaches of the National Football Championship were beneficiaries of FECAFOOT’s financial aid as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.

” Each one should see how he can help the other. We are doing our best to find means to do that. We are looking forward to whether we can do something for the regions. We can’t stay like this without acting on our own people, our own stakeholders” FECAFOOT’s President told the National Station in an exclusive interview.

Both players and coaches of Cameroon’s domestic League are under heavy financial burden after the suspension of the League.

In April 2020, 25 players and staff of each elite one and two clubs with an additional 20 players and staff of the women’s League club’s were granted 50,000fcsCFA,30,000frsCFA and 25,000frsCFA respectively.

Cameroon’s Football regulatory body is considering to extend their support to the regions who equally constitute a greater part of their stakeholders.

Seidou Mbombo Njoya also reintegrated the importance of public health citing it is essential. He said the security and moral of stakeholders has been well thought of.
