FECAFOOT GA: Mbombo Njoya announces giant plan for the Amateur League.
The Extraordinary General Assembly of the Cameroon Football Federation, FECAFOOT, is currently on going at the Mont Febe hotel in Yaounde. The assembly is first of its kind, since Seidou Mbombo Njoya and his crew were voted into office in December 2018.
Presiding over his first General Assembly as FECAFOOT’s president, Prince Seidou Mbombo Njoya announced future plans of making the Amateur League in the country, a reference for others to copy.
In his opening address,. Njoya said “The Amateur League has been going on in all the regions. FECAFOOT gave the necessary resources to the regional and divisional League’s”. He added “our objective is to make the Amateur League, a reference, and we are working towards that. The situation will evolve progressively. We have been following with keen attention, the activities of each regional League and we will award the best”.
The FECAFOOT boss further disclosed that an inter_regional tournament will be put in place, and is already on the pipeline, and will be presented to public, after its elaboration.
Seidou Mbombo Njoya also talked on strengthening the relationship between the cameroon professional football league, and FECAFOOT. “As far is the professional football is concerned, our priority is to reinforce our collaboration with the LFPC, with the objective of attending effective professionalization”, said Njoya.
The FECAFOOT extraordinary assembly, is expected amongst others, adopt some proposed amendments from the statute of the organ, and the electorial code.
