Cameroon telecommunications service provider and regulator, CAMTEL has declared its interest and readiness to work with the new team at the helm of the Cameroon Football Federation-FECAFOOT led by Samuel Eto’o.
The General Manager of the telecommunications unit, Judith Yah Sunday Epouse Achidi, made the declaration in the late hours of Saturday December 13, hours after the Indomitable Lions legend got elected as the new president of the Cameroonian FA.
In a Twitter post, Judith Achidi congratulated the CAF Legend for his election and announced her structure’s will and readiness to work with the Eto’o led government at the Cameroon football federation.
“Dear Samuel Eto’o Fils, Mr President, accept my sincere congratulations for your brilliant election at the helm of FECAFOOT.
CAMTEL is open and ready to accompany you in this very challenging task.” Judith Achidi wrote.

Bb The pending partnership if brought to fruition, is expected to be one of the first penned down by the FECAFOOT new deal government headed by Samuel Eto’o Fils who defeated interim Seidou Mbombo Njoya last Saturday December 11 to become the new FA Boss.
The collaboration is also expected to massively contribute to the financial well-being and smooth functioning of the Cameroonian FA under the former FC Barcelona and Inter Milan star.
These, falling in line with Samuel Eto’o Fils lofty campaign promises of revitalizing football in Cameroon.
CAMTEL is one of the biggest companies involved in the promotion of sports in Cameroon.
The organ is presently an official partner and sponsor of the vibrant Cameroon Volleyball Federation considered as one of the most outstanding sports federations in Cameroon.
The telecommunication structure is equally an official partner of the Chantal Biya International Cycling Tour of Cameroon, one of Africa’s biggest international bicycle race.
CAMTEL is also an official sponsor of the Mt. Cameroon Race of Hope organized every February in Buea in the South West region of Cameroon which brings together athletes all-over the world.
