Samuel Eto’o Fils, the President of the Cameroon football Federation (FECAFOOT) has been given 72hrs hours to decide the fate of coach Antonio Conceicao at the helm of the Lions Den by his board during an Executive committee meeting.
This is one of the key resolutions of FECAFOOT of the just-ended meeting chaired by Samuel Eto’o Fils alongside his executive bureau in limbe this Wednesday,February 16 in what is the institution’s second executive committee meeting in the Eto’o era.
The soccer legend and newly-elected President of one of the World’s most successful Federation, Samuel Eto’o Fils arrived Marcson Hotel in Limbe for the working session with several FECAFOOT staff.
Limbe, chief town of Fako Division and city of Friendship was chosen to host this first technical meeting after a successful hosting of the just ended TotalEnergies AFCON Cameroon 2021.

Having made it clear that he has nothing to hide from the public reason why he wants to fully entertain the media in this opening session, the President with much disappointment addressed the reaction of the public and Cameroonians about the Lions performance at the AFCON. “I am disappointed with the fact that even some authorities and executives took to social media to crucify the Indomitable Lions though they did their best in defending the colours of this great nation. We are taking it too far and so I will not like to be involved in this act of triviality because whether in victory or defeat, we ought to congratulate and encourage the boys for their efforts.” Eto’o said.
After hours of deliberations, the members took a number of resolutions including the decision to confirm the insitution’s Secretary General as Mr Benjamin Didier Bandlock on permanent basis, appointment of various committee members and very crucial the president to decide on the fate of the Indomitable Lions head Antonio Conceicao coach within 72 hours.
